Eternity

img_0059Life is a difficult journey to the only clear truth
We need to continuously observe oneself to be conscious
We need to continuously better ourselves to deserve eternity
Suicide? giving up? Never an option
One need to see the truth to be part of it

Iraq/Iran war seems a distant memory that claimed so many lives
The dead and the living dead
8 years … seemed then like eternity
We lost our youth … a long sentence in a life-size prison
Saddam was the extreme darkness of tyranny

Little we know … how much more blackness yet to come
Power, greed and pride are the ruling tribes
The rest of us will continue groping blindly
The visiting missiles no longer disturb our sleep
Explosions are part of life
Losing each other, losing the shape of society…. the ever changing neighbourhood
Death is normality
The usual daily sadness….
Perhaps an escape …

Driving over the bridge when she realised that her breaks wouldn’t stop the car in time
A split of second decision to change road sides..
It wasn’t the time for her or others to die….lucky escape…
Fate ..all about timing….
She didn’t manage to fix neither the hand nor the foot breaks… very difficult.. Visiting the mechanic is a difficult and depressing mission….it can wait….
Death is a normality
If it meant to be, then it will be ….
Until then
Life is a difficult journey to the only clear truth
We need to continuously observe oneself to be conscious
We need to continuously better ourselves to deserve eternity
Suicide is a form of giving up therefore never an option
One need to see the truth to be part of it

When I die…

When I die
when my coffin
is being taken out
you must never think
i am missing this world

don’t shed any tears
don’t lament or
feel sorry
i’m not falling
into a monster’s abyss

when you see
my corpse is being carried
don’t cry for my leaving
i’m not leaving
i’m arriving at eternal love

when you leave me
in the grave
don’t say goodbye
remember a grave is
only a curtain
for the paradise behind

you’ll only see me
descending into a grave
now watch me rise
how can there be an end
when the sun sets or
the moon goes down

it looks like the end
it seems like a sunset
but in reality it is a dawn
when the grave locks you up
that is when your soul is freed

have you ever seen
a seed fallen to earth
not rise with a new life
why should you doubt the rise
of a seed named human

have you ever seen
a bucket lowered into a well
coming back empty
why lament for a soul
when it can come back
like Joseph from the well

when for the last time
you close your mouth
your words and soul
will belong to the world of
no place no time
